"At the end of the day, the most overwhelming key to a child's success, is the positive involvement of parents"- Jane Hull
Parent Volunteers Needed More Than Ever
Whether your child has been enrolled for five years or five months, parents may not be aware that just last year, Arroyo Del Oso Elementary School was facing the possibility of completely dissolving the PTA. The PTA is completely voluntary and the lack of parent involvement in the program meant that only the board members and a handful of teachers and staff were solely responsible for organizing our favorite events and left alone to support the school. No one is being paid extra to host these activities for families. The fact of the matter is that in recent years, the ADO PTA has had to rely on a small amount of volunteers to help provide the fun and activities for the entire school. In order for ADO to provide fun activities in the future to help balance the learning and to continue to support the families in need. We absolutely need parent volunteers as well as new parent PTA members. Let's not risk losing such a wonderful program that helps not only the school, but everyone in the ADO community. Please contact any member of the PTA to sign up and see how you can get involved today!

The members of the ADO PTA are the ones we can thank for hosting our favorite events and activites such as the "Boo hoo/Yahoo" breakfast for kindergarteners, Fall Festival, Health Fair and Jog a thon. Additionally, the PTA also helps with fundraising events to help provide folders and agendas for all grade levels. We help support the teachers with money for buses for field trips and help pay dues for Spelling Bee and other great events and programs that help create our school culture. We believe that there should be a fun and exciting element to school to balance the discipline and learning. Furthermore the PTA helps work with the teachers to provide additional funding for out of pocket expenses and SO MUCH MORE. We couldn't do it without our volunteers so please volunteer today!
