Fadhil Nadhif Muharam
I am a PhD student in economics at the Stockholm School of Economics and an affiliated student at the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum).
My primary research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, the economics of gender, and the economics of the family. My current research agenda investigates the role of social norms in shaping children's welfare in developing countries. Specifically, I focus on the determinants of harmful norms and their impact on human capital accumulation in children.
Note: I will be visiting the Vancouver School of Economics, University of British Columbia from January to June 2026.
