Adding a Website to Your Homescreen
Have you ever come across a site or online tool that does not have an app but it does have a webpage? This video shows you how to make a webpage accessible just like an app is from your phone. Anytime you need access to the site in the future you can hit a button instead of navigating to a webpage.
Lets say one of your colleagues asks you for a scanned copy of a document.... sure you can make your way to the printer or scanner that is located centrally in the building, scan it to your e-mail, and then share.... but what if I told you that you can do all of this directly from your phone? You may not be aware but there are actually some additional grading features when you grade from your phone. You have the freedom to write on their work as if it were right in front of you to provide more personalized feedback.
This tool does require a smartphone but only for the teacher. It utilizes QR codes to get real time data in class. Very cool tool and is a great way to get kids to interact and engage with what is going on in class.
