Provide financial support to exceptional students living with the following inflammatory diseases as they pursue goals of higher education:
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS)
Crohn’s disease (CD)
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS)
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA)
Psoriasis (Ps)
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA)
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
Ulcerative colitis (UC)
Uveitis (UV)
A US citizen or a legal and permanent resident of the US
Diagnosed with AS, CD, HS, JIA, Ps, PsA, RA, UC, or UV by a healthcare professional. (If the applicant has been diagnosed with more than one of these inflammatory diseases, the applicant should choose the most relevant inflammatory disease for this application.)
Enrolling in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited United States (US) two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the 2024-2025 academic year. Applicants must have completed high school or obtained a General Education Development (GED) certificate before the end of June 2024.
An essay of no more than 2,000 characters (essay prompts and more information can be found in the Application).
One online letter of recommendation completed on their behalf.
