Kazem pursued his undergraduate degree before returning home for a 1.5-year internship, gaining practical experience in his field. Encouraged by his family, he decided to pursue his graduate studies in a new location closer to some relatives, ultimately choosing Adelphi University due to its location in New York.
Kazem is fascinated with the vibrant energy of New York and appreciates the diverse opportunities it offers. His favorite class at Adelphi is GCAC, taught by Professor Lyod, where he engages deeply in learning. When not in class, he can be found in the library or student lounge on campus. Kazem enjoys spending his free time playing video games remotely with his friends in Bangladesh, staying connected despite the distance.
Looking ahead, Kazem is eager to further explore Manhattan, particularly its renowned museums, as part of his New York experience. He aspires to work in the sustainability field in New York after graduation, leveraging the city's dynamic ecosystem. Ultimately, he plans to utilize his education and experiences gained at Adelphi and in New York to contribute to sustainable initiatives back home in Bangladesh. Despite the bustling nature of New York City, Kazem finds solace in the calm and homely atmosphere of Long Island, appreciating the proximity of NYC for leisure activities.
