METHOD 2: Converting to a Decimal, then a Percent
In PINK and ORANGE, we have explored converting fractions to percents using equivalent fractions. Sometimes, the fraction does not easily convert to a fraction out of 100, so we need to use a different method.
Another way to convert a fraction to a percent is to first convert the fraction to a decimal, then express the decimal as a percentage.

- Since percent means out of 100, we need to multiply our decimal by 100 to express it as a percent
- We can do this by moving our decimal place 2 place values to the right.
