My name is Connor Hague, and I am proud to call the Texas Hill Country home. Growing up surrounded by its rugged landscapes and winding rivers has fostered my deep appreciation for the outdoors. I am an avid fly fisherman, drawn to the challenge and tranquility of the sport, and I spend much of my free time exploring new waters in search of the perfect cast. Beyond fishing, I have a passion for wildlife photography, capturing the beauty of nature through my lens. Whether it's a misty morning on the river or a fleeting glimpse of a whitetail deer, I find great fulfillment in preserving these moments and sharing them with others.
I want to use this site as a platform to share my work, showcase my talent, and express my deep passion for wildlife photography. Capturing the beauty of nature and the incredible creatures that inhabit our world is more than just a hobby—it's a way for me to tell stories, inspire others, and raise awareness about the importance of conservation. Through my lens, I aim to bring people closer to the wild, highlighting the breathtaking moments that often go unseen. I hope my photography resonates with others and sparks the same appreciation for wildlife that drives me every day. Enjoy!
On a recent trip to Alaska, I had the incredible opportunity to witness and photograph bears in their natural habitat. As I explored the breathtaking landscapes, I was able to capture stunning images of these majestic creatures as they roamed freely, fished in the rivers, and interacted with their surroundings. The experience of observing them up close, in such a wild and untouched environment, was truly unforgettable and gave me a deep appreciation for the beauty and power of nature.
Bird photography is one of my greatest passions. Whether it's the delicate beauty of an Audubon's Warbler flitting through the trees or the majestic presence of a Bald Eagle soaring overhead, I find endless fascination in capturing these incredible creatures. Each bird has its own unique charm, from the vibrant plumage of songbirds to the powerful grace of raptors. The challenge of getting the perfect shot—whether it's freezing a hummingbird in mid-flight or framing an owl in the golden light of dusk—makes every moment behind the lens exciting. There’s something truly special about observing birds in their natural habitat and preserving those fleeting moments through photography.
It’s not always just about categorizing animals. While I often find myself focusing on birds, every now and then, a different creature finds its way into my collection. Whether it’s a deer grazing in the morning light or a turtle eating grass, I enjoy the variety that comes with wildlife photography. Each animal brings a unique challenge and a new story to tell through my lens. Here are shots of all sorts of animals.
