Guest Judge/Headliner: Comedian, Musician Clif Knight

Clif is a Guyanese born comedian based in Toronto. With a music teacher and voice coach for a mother, Clif has been performing since very little, his first big stage musical performance at 6 years old. After performing classical woodwind music for 10 years, Clif switched to being the bassist and backup vocals for the punk band ‘Keep Your Day Job!’ After moving to Canada he played drums and bass for various jazz and punk collectives until switching to more comedic performances in 2016. Since then he has performed across Ontario as both a standup comedian and one half of the musical rap sketch duo ‘GoodKnight’. He’s performed at the New York Comedy Club, The Comedy Studio in Boston and opened for Adam Newman at The Comedy Nest in Montreal. Kari is a stand-up comedian and writer currently based in Toronto but actually started comedy in Ireland. Soon after hitting the stage she appeared in multiple festivals across the country and was told early on she had “a very bright future in comedy” by comedy legend Karl Spain (RTE). Keesha is an energetic, multi-faceted performer. She crafts her comedic recipe with a background in theatre, sketch, and music. Making observations about her Jamaican roots and Canadian upbringing, she punctuates punchlines with act-outs, parody songs, and sometimes even backup dancers. Behind that dynamic stage presence lies a fierce work ethic and an entrepreneurial mind. Brownie is a Second City alumni, independent show producer, and she keeps her fingers on the pulse by frequenting open mics all over Toronto. Brownie earned a Canadian Comedy Award nomination for Best Female Stand-Up in 2015. From there, she has made a name for herself on a global scale. Anto has travelled across North America & Asia, inspiring audiences through laughter. He strives to help people realize the potential within themselves through humourous personal stories. Anto performed on the independent Stand-up Comedy tours “the Sleeping in our Car Tour” & “The Sleeping in our Car 2er, travelling across Canada. He won Best Independent Venue (the Shanghai) @ Ottawa Comedy Awards in 2010, the 2012 I Heart Jokes award for “Open Mic Hero” and was a finalist in the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival 2014. He has made appearances on Omni News, CBC Radio, XM Radio, RTHK, TVB Pearl, Proper TV And his stand-up comedy video GOW was featured on the front page of Reddit. He was featured on Coming to the Stage season 4 in LA produced by Comedy Dynamics. ​He emcee'd Kollaboration Talent Showcase, Karaoke w/ China Doll at The Shanghai, youth events, variety shows and many more!  He also competed at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word Poetry in 2013. He loves organizing and MCing English-Cantonese-French weddings customizing the experience for the couple's big day. Anto featured his solo shows Shed Talks & Love So Far in the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2016, and in Montreal Fringe Festival in 2019. He received praise from both Mooney on Theatre and Montreal Theatre hub for his aptitude in storytelling, poetry & comedy as well as his genuine connection to intimate audiences.
