I am an Associate Professor of International Relations and Security Studies specializing in conflict analysis, geopolitics and state-building in the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean [PhD in Security and Conflict Analysis, Queen’s University of Belfast]
I am an Associate Professor of International Relations and Security Studies specializing in conflict analysis, geopolitics and state-building in the Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean [PhD in Security and Conflict Analysis, Queen’s University of Belfast]
I have previously taught International Relations and Foreign Policy at the University of Cyprus as a contracted lecturer and Visiting Professor (2013-2024) and worked as project manager and researcher for the externally funded program «Rearranging the Puzzle of Security in the Eastern Mediterranean: Mapping Actors and Dynamics from a Low Geopolitical Perspective» [2020-2023] and for the joint EU EastMed Regional Training Partnership Erasmus+ programme (2016-2019). I worked as coordinator of the annual Virginia Tech University fieldwork programme on Conflict Studies from 2029-2024, and I also serve as Senior Researcher at the Institute for Studies of Politics and Democracy (ISPD).
