Dr. Konstantinos Kanakoglou, Ph.D.

Short Bio

BSc in Physics, MSc in Pure Mathematics, PhD in Mathematical Physics, dealing with the braided Hopf algebraic structure of parastatistics. 

I have held postdoctoral research and/or teaching positions at the School of Physics and the School of Mathematics of the Faculty of Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Social, Political and Economic Sciences of the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) and at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics (IFM), of the University of Michoacan (UMSNH) at Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. 

My study and research has mainly revolved around paraparticle algebras, (braided) Hopf algebras, graded algebras, θ-colored, G-graded Lie algebras, (Lie) super-algebras, representations, quasitriangularity, braidings, Braided Monoidal Categories, Bosonization and Reconstruction theories and trilinear recurrence relations stemming from theoretical physics scenarios. During my postdoctoral stay at the Instituto de Física y Matemáticas, UMSNH, I worked -among others- on the computations of arithmetic values of solutions of confluent Heun equations in the Ince limit, stemming from brane-world scenarios problems.

During the last couple of years, my teaching -apart from courses I am delivering at Anatolia University (AAU)- also involves delivering a postgraduate course on Classical Electrodynamics, addressed to students of the Computational Physics Master of the School of Physics of AUTh.
