The creation of the Asheville High School Student Center is a direct response to the findings of The Listening Project (TLP). TLP determined the need for increased academic supports during the school day, especially those which target writing skills, as a way of increasing student enrollment and achievement in Honors and AP courses. This project was made possible by a grant from the Asheville City Schools Foundation.
