• Industry Field Trips/Virtual Tours: Visits to local businesses, labs, startups, or manufacturing sites.

• Career Interest Workshops: Personality and interest assessments with reflection activities.

Semester 2 – Skills Development & Career Readiness

Goal: Build workplace-ready skills, prepare for entry-level work, internships, or technical school programs, and create career plans.

Events/Activities:

• Workshops on Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, and professional etiquette.

• Hands-on Skill Workshops: Industry-specific skills (coding bootcamp, healthcare basics, trade skills, entrepreneurship simulations).

• Mentorship Program: Pair with industry mentors for guidance and networking.

• Mock Interviews & Resume Clinics: Practice interview skills with feedback.

• Career Fair / Internship Placements: Opportunities for internships, volunteer experiences, or apprenticeships.
