Project Management oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of key initiatives across departments. They coordinate resources, manage timelines, and mitigate risks to ensure projects stay on track and align with business objectives. By facilitating communication and driving cross-functional collaboration, they help optimize processes, improve efficiency, and support the successful launch of products and initiatives.
What requirements and technical training is needed to get into this position?
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required.
What do you do on a day-to-day basis?
Cross-collaborate with teams to get updates on items outlined in a project plan.
What days/hours does your team work?
Standard business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
Occasional off-hours for releases as needed

Entire organization with a large share of support for these departments:
Sales
Marketing
Compliance
What are the metrics/KPIs used to define success?
Projects launched in a timely manner with proper change management.
Define the micro-culture of the department and what makes it special/unique?
Very collaborative and cross-organizational
How is the work structure – independent work or more collaboration?
Combination of both, but transparency of the work is highly desirable.
What does the future in terms of growth opportunity look like for this department?
While the project managers are decentralized, we're hoping for a more overarching org in the future.
