APL Sales helps customers secure financing by assessing their needs, explaining loan terms, and guiding them through the application process. They provide personalized recommendations, ensure compliance with lending regulations, and work to build strong customer relationships. Their goal is to drive loan originations while delivering a seamless and supportive borrowing experience.
What requirements and technical training is needed to get into this position?
To sell personal loans, understand financial products, loan types, credit assessments, and compound interest. Learn regulations (e.g., Fair Lending laws) and develop skills in conversation management, sales techniques, and objection handling. High coachability can enhance earning potential.
What do you do on a day-to-day basis?
On a day-to-day basis, you’ll manage leads by initiating contact, building rapport, and understanding client needs. You will focus on offering tailored solutions to help reduce compounding interest, guiding clients through the loan process, and ensuring they receive the best possible terms.
What days/hours does your team work?
We are open 7 days a week with shifts from 6 AM - 8 PM.
Schedules are assigned based on business need.
Who are the key stakeholders and who is impacted by your work (who’s your client)?
Key stakeholders are customers (i.e., loan borrowers) with $5k - $50k of unsecured debt.
Compounding interest has a massive impact on total cost of debt and time to payoff.
