Welcome to Mrs. Weingart's homepage! I am looking forward to a great fifth grade year! Science and Social Studies are two areas where students will not have assigned homework other than preparing for upcoming tests and quizzes (or the occasional need to finish work that did not get completed in class). I also use Remind to send out special messages regarding tests, quizzes, projects, etc.  You can click on the link above to sign up.  Grades are posted on Progress Book and available for viewing at any time.  I update them frequently.

About Me

This is my 34th year teaching fifth grade in Canfield, and I love what I do! I graduated from Grove City College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and received my master's degree in middle grades from Youngstown State University.  Besides teaching, I have a passion for travel, and I've been blessed to see many exciting parts of the world.  I will share many of my travels through social studies this year. My husband and I are officially empty nesters as our sons, Nathan and Justin, are both out on their own.  We have a grandson, Easton, who will be two in September, and we love spending time with him!
