Quick About Me

My life's purpose is to encourage, equip, and empower others to fulfill their purpose. I have taught 1st and 3rd grades, virtually, 7th grade science and 6th grade social studies. 

This is my 6th year as a school counselor and I love every minute of what I get to do everyday. I have two boys, two grandchildren, 2 cats, and 1 dog.  

I am a licensed therapist and provide therapy in Ft. Inn, SC. 

What does a school counselor do?

School counselors are certified/licensed educators who improve student success for ALL students by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. - American School Counseling Association

• Work with students in classrooms, small groups, and individually

• Help students emotionally, socially, and academically

• Care about the hard things in students' lives 

• Work with teachers and families to help students be ther best and fulfill their potential
