Welcome to Mrs. Westmoreland's Science class. I am excited for a new year of learning together about how our world works. My teaching philosophy is "Involve Me and I Learn." I enjoy showing students the way scientific principles explain the world around us instead of just telling them. Most importantly, I'm excited to be sharing this learning experience with my Griffin Tribe. I am thankful to be a part of this community of students, parents, teachers and administrators.
Meet Mrs. Westmoreland
I am Mrs. Linda Westmoreland. This is my 17th year of teaching. I am certified in 6th-12th grade Science and 6th-8th grade Math. I am currently teaching 7th grade science and high school Biology. I am passing the torch as ACA district coordinator for Odyssey of the Mind to our new AP Ryan Lam, so we will be working together during the transition this year. I have taught in public school, private school, and at ACA. I strongly believe that ACA is the best learning environment I've ever been a part of and I am thankful that my own children have been a part of it.
