This week in ELAR:

January 13-17, 2020

• We will continue our novel study on Robin Hood. We will be reading chapters 1-3. We will be working on characterization, comprehension, and plot.
• We will be reviewing introductory phrases in writing, as well as reflexive pronouns and the correct usage of I and me.
• We will be working on the cursive pages 39/40.
• The poem, "Fog," is due January 16, 2020. However, since we will be MAP testing on Wednesday (when the poem is usually due), students may recite to me early during Morning Meeting, lunch, or during ELAR on Monday and Tuesday, if they would like to do so.
• There is no Genre Project for the month of January due to MAP testing. We will be working on literature activities in class related to our novel study.
