Digital Content for Teaching

Course Description

This course is intended for introducing the creation of digital content to be used in a lesson as a part of its preparation. Several applications are available for teachers to facilitate creating and curating content that may be used to enable better interaction with students in and outside the classroom. This course will quickly introduce several of those tools and some of their uses to enable the teacher to, further, explore the potential of each for their own needs.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop participants will be able to:

  • Identifying the parts of the lesson in which to use digital content
  • Identify a variety of tools for creating and curating digital content
  • Use online tools to prepare for lessons
  • Use online tools to create and curate content
