I'm an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) and a CNPq productivity fellow. I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics in 2008 at UFCG, followed by a master's degree in Economics in 2010 at UFPB, and a PhD in Economics in 2014 at UFPE. In 2018, I undertook a postdoctoral internship at ESSP-FGV.
My research interests include Public Sector Economics, Political Economy, Policy Evaluation, Economics of Education, and Health Economics. Since 2021, I have served as the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE) at UFPB.
I participate in interdisciplinary research groups and networks of institutions in the fields of health (ModelaSus) and education (RecuperaBR). Additionally, I coordinate the Laboratory of Economics and Policy Evaluation (LEAP), where we conduct both academic research and consultancy projects in collaboration with governmental agencies.
