Welcome back to another year of music! This is my 3rd year teaching music at A-O Elementary.

About Me:

I was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Music Education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. My husband is also a musician, and has a masters degree in percussion from UNCG! We live in the Greensboro area with our sweet Australian Cattle Dog named Logan. While I had to learn how to play ALL of the traditional band and orchestra instruments to get my degree; I specialize in flute, piano, and voice. I have performed many major works from Star Wars with the VCU Symphony to Beethoven’s Ninth with the Richmond Symphony!

Currently, I play flute and Ney (the Arabic version of a flute) in the North Carolina Middle Eastern Ensemble, and I sing soprano in Musica Anima; an early music ensemble specializing in music of the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
