8th grade ELA

Welcome! I am looking forward to a great year of reading and writing. I want to help prepare each student to become more independent and successful in the classroom.

I teach 8th grade Language Arts and I love to read. It is my goal to help every student find books they will enjoy and to turn them on to reading. Be prepared to read in my class.

I am happily married and have 2 beautiful children. I enjoy watching them participate in sports and other various activities. I am originally from Asheville and graduated from Appalachian State University. Go Mountaineers!

I am excited about our year together!
