6th Grade Multi-Genre Project
Hello Sixth Grade Students!
Many of you are starting to work on your multi-genre projects and need to do some online research. Ms. Merritt has collected a bunch of resources you can use to find the information you need! The websites and databases will provide credible information that you know is accurate. If you have any questions about how to use these resources or about finding information, please visit the library!
NCWiseOwl is an great set of resources available to students at Graham Middle. This site offers a number of databases to students and takes the guess work out of whether of not a website is credible.

AllSides is a website that provides multiple newspaper articles about the same topic. This means you can learn what people with different view points think about a variety topics and how they talk about these topics. This site is especially helpful if you're researching current events.
The Digital Public Library of American provides tons of free primary resources about historical events. There are videos and images, along with articles to give them context.
This would be a great place to find images to go with your multi-genre project to add interest for your readers!
