Purpose/mission: It is the mission of Ralph Scott Lifeservices to provide individualized community living services and supports for people with intellectual disabilities that promote: sound health, dignity, growth, stability, and community involvement and that recognize and value each individual’s heritage and preferences.
Population served: Adults with intellectual disabilities and other developmental disabilities in Alamance and Caswell County
Services/programs/resources offered:
Group Homes: Ralph Scott Lifeservices, Inc. provides group living services to men and women. We are part of the Cardinal Innovations Provider Network. Our five and six bed group homes are community based in Alamance and Caswell County. We have homes in Burlington, Graham, Mebane, Gibsonville, Elon, Yanceyville, and Blanche. Our primary focus is foster choices, community involvement, and promote independence.
Intermediate Care Facilities: We provide services through ICF/IDD (Community based Intermediate Care facilities) at five locations.
DD Adult Group Homes: We also provide services in CRSS (Community Based Residential Support Services) at twelve locations.
Supported Living Apartments: Ralph Scott Lifeservices, Inc. provides supported living to adults 18 and older. Services can be provided in one of three multi unit apartment buildings and one duplex. We also offer supports in your own home or apartment through Independent Living.
Day Program, StarPoint: Ralph Scott Lifeservices, Inc. provides day services to adults , 18 years and older, at our Day Program located in Burlington, N.C. We provide services Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Services include ADVP and Cardinal Innovations. Our day program has music therapy, pet therapy, arts and crafts, daily living skills training, and community activities. Our participants love going to the movies, out to eat, the library, and participating in Meals on Wheels. We host several events throughout the year including our annual Fall Festival and Christmas Concert.
Costs/requirements to participate:
Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Must be in the Cardinal Innovations Network and approved for services.
All applicants must have a diagnosis of intellectual or other developmental disability.
Must be approved by our Admission Committee.
