Organization name: TECpark
Purpose/mission: Opening in 2021, TECpark is unique in that it is designed to meet the needs of all special needs; children and young adults, their siblings, and caregivers. TECpark is a place where acceptance and fun are a priority; where different is great; and where parents can relate to other caregivers that have children with unique needs. It’s our desire to change lives, one opportunity, one encounter at a time. All are welcome!

Services/programs/resources offered:
Sensory Fun/Social Opportunities: At TECpark we use equipment, crafts, music, media and so much more to accommodate the needs of our children and families. We have designed activities for not only children with unique needs but for all. Scheduled social opportunities and events for children and young adults will be available (examples: Adapted Egg Hunt, Talent Showcase).
Caregiver Support: Our goal is to solve the problem of social isolation that often comes with being a child or young adult with unique needs and those that are caregivers. What makes us uniquely compelling is that we will also provide inclusive activities and a quiet viewing environment for parents, siblings and other caregivers who feel isolated or desire companionship. We want to entertain and create a socially stimulating environment for caregivers and those they care for.
Related Service Provider Space: Office space will be available to rent for Related Service Providers, those who professionally care for children and young adults with diverse needs. We will have a well-equipped facility where they can work with their students providing programming, support, and fun. Learning Professionals include, but are not limited to, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Providers of Physical Therapy, and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
