Purpose/mission: We are a ministry where people with and without developmental disabilities meet to share God's love and to claim the Abundant Life that Jesus died to give us. It includes a day program and a monthly celebration we call the BASH. We freely worship the Lord and have daily bible studies, exercise, fellowship, and love on one another like one large family. If you feel led to volunteer with us please contact a staff member.
Population served: Special-needs adults, 18 or older
Services/programs/resources offered:
Day program:
Two groups served (one on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the other on Tuesdays and Thursdays) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Caregivers may attend if applicable.
Activities will be worship, exercise, crafts, performances, and lots of community outings.
The BASH: a monthly dinner for high school and older special needs folks
