September 2025: The course re-leveling plan continues with most courses now structured under the new leveling model.
August 2025: Between 2021 and 2025, the number of Advanced Placement tests taken by ABRHS students went from 1116 (in 2021) to 1744 (in 2025), a 56% increase, while the overall mean score remained steady (4.23 in 2025 and 4.21 in 2021).
February 2025: Course planning for the 2025-26 school year includes course leveling changes in Mathematics and course naming alignment in World Language.
September 2024: The high school is on schedule with implementing the course leveling plan. The English, Science, and Social Studies departments course structures now reflect the long-term leveling plan. The Mathematics and World Language departments continue with the rollout of their course changes. Please see school year 2024-25 in this Plan at Glance document.
January 2024: the Acton-Boxborough School Committee voted to support the high school's multi-year Course Leveling Plan.
