The Writing Center @ The Library provides assistance to all students with their writing projects across the curriculum. Students may visit the Writing Center at any time during the writing process and get help with such things as:
- Brainstorming topic ideas
- Organization of a paper, including finding a focus
- Using evidence in a paper
- Summarizing and paraphrasing (from your research notes)
- Revising and practicing self-editing techniques
**Please schedule an appointment, either by emailing Mrs. McDonald (firstname.lastname@example.org) or through the sign up calendar just inside the Writing Center. While appointments are encouraged and preferred, drop-ins are welcome with the understanding that we cannot guarantee that a tutor will be available.**
