ABQ-GED’s vision is to foster an individual’s desire for education, opportunity, and independence.
In keeping with our vision statement, our mission is to give low-income adults a second chance on life through adult education and GED preparation programs.
We will accomplish this by using individualized approaches to learning.
“Education doesn’t stop here; I’m moving on to pursue a BA in Psychology and then my Master’s degree.” – Iris Chavez
Albuquerque GED, Inc., (ABQ-GED), a 501(c)3 established in 2010 (formerly known as SER de NM ABE/GED Program), is a non-profit organization with over 15 years of experience providing high school equivalency preparation, post-secondary transition assistance, and career preparation assistance. We are focused on serving adults in some of the most under-served communities in the Albuquerque area. Our community-based program operates out of various community centers thanks to the generosity of the City of Albuquerque.
