New this year, the ABCUSD Film Festival proudly introduces the first 'AMEs Awards'—honoring outstanding student filmmakers and movie poster artists for their talent, creativity, and dedication to Arts, Media, and Entertainment. Emerging Filmmakers can compete in six film categories: Short Film, Documentary, Promotion/Commercial, PSA, Animation, and How-To. For our Digital Media Designers, the festival will host a Movie Poster category. Students are encouraged to explore any categories for their films or movie posters. Students are welcome to submit work created for class projects or other competitions. All submitted films and movie posters will be showcased at our Film Festival. Films and posters submissions are open to current ABCUSD students in 7th-12th graders only.
The ABC Unified School District Film Festival is excited to showcase our students' creative work and visions through their storytelling abilities, narrative and expository writing skills, through the art of filmmaking and design. ABCUSD Annual Film Festival celebrates student talent, where you can discover fresh voices, cutting-edge creativity, and the future of filmmaking.
We look forward to welcoming our community to our Annual Film Festival!
