While we will use our TI Nspire handhelds in class, there is a FREE online graphing calculator called Desmos. What is really AWESOME about this site (other than its free), is that Desmos is one of the embedded calculators for the STAAR EOC in Algebra 1!!!

It is an amazing tool, but there is a small catch.... Do NOT use the regular graphing calculator! There is a Texas (STAAR) version that is slightly different. I have included the directions below on how to access this calculator!

Start on Desmos.com

From the top toolbar, select Math Tools

From the dropdown menu, select Test Practice

Towards the top in blue should be "Choose Assessment"

Click on this link and scroll to select Texas (STAAR)

Once there, choose the last option for the graphing calculator
