At ABA, technology enhances teaching and learning by giving students more voice and choice while providing a wide range of accessibility and learning support tools. Because technology plays a key role in education at ABA, it is important to ensure your child has the appropriate device and that it is set up correctly.
The device requirements vary by grade level:
FC-G3 – No device required; the school provides iPads as needed in class.
Grade 4 – Parents have the choice of either an iPad with a keyboard or a laptop, plus headphones.
Grade 5 – Parents provide laptop and headphones.
We also strongly recommend that all families take the time to review Common Sense Media and co-create a Family Media Agreement that clearly outlines when, where, and how technology is used at home.
