SCQF

The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework is a way of comparing and describing Scottish qualifications. It covers the qualifications you achieve at school, college, university and in the workplace. It does this by giving each qualification a level and a number of credit points.

The level tells you how difficult a qualification is, the higher the number, the greater the difficulty. The credit points show how much time it normally takes to achieve a qualification.

Your child will be given a leaflet explaining what this means for the qualifications they are taking or may take in the future. For more information, click on the link at the bottom of this page.
