What will I learn?
You will learn to work with others to create and present different forms of drama from a range of stimuli and scripts. You will learn how to create mood and atmosphere using theatre arts which include lighting and sound effects. You will also have the chance to be a member of a whole-class production company, exploring different aspects of theatrical production to bring a pantomime performance to life.
What skills will I develop?
You will develop communication skills through working with others. You will develop design and production skills when exploring how theatre arts enhance performances. You will develop your performance skills such as adapting your voice and movement appropriately for characterisation and making effective use of stage positioning.
How will I will know I am progressing?
You will get regular feedback from the class teacher and peers after performances. You will have the opportunity for self-evaluation including watching back previous performances and will also record work and progress in your S2 Drama booklet.
What type of homework will I get?
Homework will consist of learning lines and revising the drama vocabulary.

The Drama Department runs a Wednesday lunchtime Drama club open to interested pupils as well as the Drama Studio (F51) always being a safe space.
