S1 Drama

What will I learn?

You will learn to work with others to create and present different forms of drama from a range of stimuli and script. You will learn how to create mood and atmosphere using Theatre Arts which include Lighting and Sound effects.  You will also have the chance to explore additional Theatre Arts such as Costume and Set design as well as learning to source props for my performances. 

What skills will I develop?

You will develop communication skills through working with others.

You will develop Design and Production skills when exploring how Theatre Arts enhance performances. 

You will develop your Performance skills such as adapting your voice and movement appropriately for characterisation.

How will I know I am progressing?

You will get regular feedback from the class teacher and peers after performances. You will have the opportunity for self evaluation including watching back previous performances. 

What type of homework will I get?

Homework will consist of learning lines and revising over the drama vocabulary.
