Bucksburn Academy

Bucksburn Academy is a six year comprehensive school serving a catchment area which includes Bucksburn, Bankhead, Kingswells, Newhills and Stoneywood. The school incorporates provision for up to 96 pupils with additional support needs from across Aberdeen City. The new school opened in October 2009.

The school also has a very close link with neighbouring Dyce Academy which allows pupils a greater range of options in the senior school due to joint timetabling between the two schools.

Establishing an ethos where all members of the school community are valued and respected is at the heart of our school as we seek to prepare our pupils for an ever changing future. We are as ambitious for our pupils as the building is for our local community.

We hope our website provides an opportunity for you to learn more about the life of the school and the many high quality learning experiences we aim to deliver to our pupils.
