Social Subjects

The Social Studies faculty offers a broad range of subject choices for pupils in S3-6.

• In S3, you will choose at least one subject from Geography, History, or Modern Studies.

• From 2026 onwards, National 3 People and Society will also be available as an option for some pupils who would benefit from a more flexible, skills-based course.

• In S4/5, this course will continue at National 4 level, alongside the usual choices at National 5 in Geography, History, and Modern Studies. 

Additional options include:

• Skills for Work: National 4/5 Travel and Tourism (available from S4)

• NPA Legal Studies (available in S6)
