This is a really great activity to relax with when you need to do something with your hands but don't want to think too much. The only thing you really need to be able to do is count to three. Equipment wise you will need:
Cardboard
Something round to draw around
Scissors
Wool, string or stranded cotton (enough for 7 lengths)
Never forget the power of reading something you enjoy. These short stories are great for escaping and recapturing that little bit of hope but anything you have to hand that you love will work. Favourite books that we know well can be ideal if you're feeling a bit stressed.
