I attended a group meeting with our advisor, where we discussed key project objectives, clarified expectations, and shared initial ideas. Additionally, I participated in training and a visit to the mechanical workshop, which provided hands-on experience and valuable insights into the tools and techniques necessary for our project. These activities helped enhance my understanding and prepared me to contribute effectively to the team’s progress.
Team dynamics and communication were integral to submitting project ideas, with my contribution being a smart irrigation system. Our team began by meeting with our advisor, where we introduced ourselves and discussed the course project objectives for IETP. Additionally, we coordinated the time and location for our next meeting to ensure effective collaboration.
Our design process began with the selection of a project idea, focusing on an eco-friendly smart solution kiosk for plastic waste and recycling. This was followed by a group meeting with our advisor, where we discussed the feasibility and objectives of the project in detail.
Conducting extensive research on materials was a crucial step in initiating the development of an eco-friendly smart solution kiosk for plastic waste and recycling. Additionally, we finalized and updated our project name to: Smart Plastic Collection and Recycling Kiosk.
The submission of our project proposal marked an important milestone in our process. Following this, we strategically distributed tasks among team members, ensuring alignment with their expertise and roles within our department. This approach allowed us to efficiently manage responsibilities and work collaboratively toward achieving our project objectives.
Our group meeting with the advisor served as a productive session where we gained valuable guidance and clarified our next steps. Following the meeting, we initiated individual research on the pricing of essential materials such as Arduino boards, sensors, and their various types. This process was critical for understanding the cost implications and feasibility of our project components, ensuring that we could make informed decisions moving forward.
We began by creating a Bill of Materials and developing a comprehensive procurement plan, laying the foundation for our work as a department. I took the lead in overseeing workshops, collaborating closely with my project team members to ensure that all tasks were executed efficiently and in alignment with our project goals. This collective effort fostered teamwork and streamlined our workflow.
The submission of our progress report outlined the key developments, including the creation of the Bill of Materials, procurement plan, and workshop organization. It also highlighted the collaboration within our department, providing an update on research, task distribution, and overall project progress for review by our advisor and team.
We had a group meeting with our advisor to present and showcase the successful final results of our project.
