Kaleidoscope Track & Field
Welcome to KA Track & Field. We are a community of athletes working towards our individual and team goals. Middle School athletes can compete in a variety of events. We ask all athletes to try new events each meet. We will have a City Meet, where the athletes will compete against Einstein, Madison, Wilson and Xavier Middle School.
As a KA Track & Field member, we must be positive citizens within the classroom. As a student athlete, you must stay ahead in your academics and be within good standing.
We can´t wait to have you out to crush your goals! Let´s go Cardinals

Welcome to Track & Field. I have been the Boys Head Coach since 2015. During school you will see me in a 7th grade classroom, teaching Math & Science. You can also find me coaching Cross Country in the Fall.
I enjoy coaching Track & Field, because it allows me to work with students trying to meet their goals. I help out in all areas during track, but work closely with students doing long distance, sprints and jumping events. I look forward to working with all the athletes and build their mental toughness! I hope to see you out this year. Let's Go Cardinals!
Coach Schickert
This is my first year as the Girls Head Coach, and coaching track has always been a goal of mine. I ran track in high school, competing in hurdles and the 4x100 relay, so being able to coach now is especially meaningful to me. Coaching gives me the opportunity to connect with students outside the classroom, get to know them better, and build strong relationships through the sport. I’m excited to watch them grow—not just as athletes, but as individuals—developing confidence, resilience, and teamwork along the way. I’m thrilled to begin my coaching journey at KA! During the day, I work as a special education teacher at Kaleidoscope, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. LET'S GO!

I am excited to be joining the Track and Field Coaching staff this season. This is a terrific sport to be part of because there truly is something for everyone. I am excited to work with all the athletes and see them improve as athletes and teamates. During the day you will find me in many different classrooms at Kaleidoscope supporting students as I am a special education teacher. I also coach boys basketball in the winter.
I will be working with students with throws in discus and shot put this spring, but I am excited to help all track members become better each day as an athlete and teamate to reach their personal goals.

I’m thrilled to be coaching track this season! My goal as your coach is to create an environment where every athlete can grow, learn, and thrive—whether you're a first-time runner or a seasoned competitor. Track is all about personal improvement, teamwork, and pushing your limits, and I’m here to help guide you every step of the way.
We'll work together to build strength, speed, and confidence, while also focusing on discipline, sportsmanship, and having fun. No matter where you start, the most important thing is that you give your best effort, support your teammates, and keep striving for improvement. I’m excited to see all of you grow as athletes and as individuals, and I can’t wait to get started!
