STEPS Alaska Partners Annual Meeting
The annual STEPS AK gathering is an opportunity to learn from and inspire each other. Our STEPS partners are doing amazing work in their communities to support students and families in meaningful ways. We appreciate your willingness to share, align, and move forward our work together. AASB is looking forward to hosting this two-day virtual meeting. Sessions offered each day, morning and afternoon, on Thursday, May 6th and Friday, May 7th . You can find the workshops you selected at registration below in the schedule.

Day 1 -
STEPS Gathering Notes Guide - This google doc will ask you to make a copy. It has both some fun games to play during our time together as well as a table for notes that we will use during some of our conversations.
8:30AM -10:00AM Opening Session; Celebrating Resilience
Connect with partners and neighbors from across Southeast Alaska who are doing similar work to help our kids thrive. Hear about stories of resilience and share your own observations and experiences from the past year.
10:15AM - 11:45AM Our Collective Impact
We are more than mid-way through the STEPS grant; what has our Collective Impact been? Where do we want to go from here?
12:00 PM - 12:45 PM Lunch and Learn
Hear more about the programs available to STEPS partners that can help wrap-around and provide additional supports and opportunities for students and their families.
1:00PM - 2:30PM Growing with our work: Covid Lessons from 2020-2021
Join this session to discuss Covid lessons learned across our STEPS districts. We will discuss how we adapted to Covid 19 to support our students, families and communities. We will also strategize with colleagues on how to maximize the opportunities and lessons we have learned moving forward into the summer and fall.
