Library Class
King Elementary includes library class in the Specials rotation (Art, Gym, Library, Music, PLTW) to provide classroom teachers preparation periods. This class includes access to the school library collection for choice reading, as well as instruction in technology skills, research, digital citizenship and keyboarding. The library is open all week for students to borrow and return books.

Staff
Our school library is staffed by two people who love to spread the joy of reading to our young learners: Mrs. Burrill and Ms. Eaddy! Mrs. Burrill is our full time, certified teacher librarian. She teaches the library "Special" to all students from Y5 to 5th grade. Ms. Eaddy is our library clerk. She processes new books and helps manage the catalog. Ms. Eaddy is in the library at King two half days and travels to 7 other AAPS school libraries each week.
