Crofton Woods Elementary School Media Center

Welcome to the Crofton Woods Elementary School Media Center!

Our primary goal in the CWES Media Center is to instill a

life-long love of reading within every child we teach.

Additionally, we aim to arm each student with the research and critical thinking skills that will serve them well throughout their academic careers.

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school!

Get ready for the newest gotta-read books, bestselling series, and favorite characters that students love. Plus, every purchase supports our school. We can’t wait to have you join us for the Best. Week. Ever!

Students will browse with their homerooms on Nov. 5th & 6th.
Students will be given an opportunity to purchase books during media classes, Nov. 9th-13th.
We will have two Family Nights: Tue., Nov, 10th and Thur., Nov. 12th from 3:30PM-6:30PM.
Enter to win one of the 24 copies of Harry Potter or one of an additional 15+ Scholastic books being raffled off during our Family Nights! Winners will be announced on the morning announcements.

Want to volunteer? Sign up here!

We are looking forward to a great book fair and can't wait to see you there!

Media Announcements

🎒Students need a plastic media book bag, kept in their backpack, to keep their media books safe from leaky water bottles as they travel to and from school.

Students were given a plastic zipper bag at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. If this bag is lost or damaged, you will then need to provide a new plastic bag.
