Broadneck Film Festival
Featuring original short films created by middle and high school students across Anne Arundel County.
Sponsored by Parole Rotary
The 18th Annual Broadneck Film Festival was held on February 29th, 2024. Over 60 films were submitted, and 26 were selected for live screening at the festival. A fabulous night celebrating environmental literacy and young film-makers, the Broadneck Film Festival also showcased the Broadneck Improv Team and Magen Evers and Riley Hoover as student emcees. With well over 160 in attendance, we were thrilled to give our student producers an engaged audience to showcase their work.
The 3nd Annual Local Environmental Action Fair at the Broadneck Film Festival offered fantastic networking for 11 local environmental non-profits and showcased the mission and work of these organizations in our environment. From turtles to oysters, treetops to reefs, there were demonstrations and conversations that left everyone feeling connected and empowered.
Below you'll find photos from LEAF, a link to watch all of the films from this year's festival, and of course, the list of winners from each category.
