Scheduling

Academic advisement and scheduling are an important piece of the high school experience. The courses selected affect student's educational and career opportunities. Administration at Arundel High School uses student course requests to determine the following each year: 

- Staffing for each department

- How many sections of each class will be offered

- Whether or not a course will be offered

- Time of each course offering

- Other scheduling considerations

As a result, students and parents should take time to review their course options each year and select the most appropriate and meaningful courses aligned with each students' post-secondary goals. All students will have a one-on-one academic advisement meeting with their school counselor to discuss the courses selected and ensure each student has a well-balanced schedule.
