I am Terri Wehrman and I am one of nine School Psychologists at the Zumbro Education District (ZED).  ZED is an educational cooperative that services 7 school districts near Rochester, MN - Blooming Prairie, Byron, Hayfield, Kasson-Mantorville, Pine Island, Stewartville, and Triton. I currently serve the Kasson-Mantorville School District full time, but previous served in Hayfield, Blooming Prairie, Byron, and Pine Island, as well. I work in all buildings in the K-M School District. As such, email may be the best way to reach me, or leave a voice message for me by calling my Middle School number.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Moorhead State University (now called Minnesota State University - Moorhead) in 1983.  I earned my Master’s degree in School Psychology from Moorhead State University in 1986.  I began my career in Williston, ND (northwestern corner of North Dakota).  I spent 5 years there, working for the Wil-Mac Multidistrict Special Education Cooperative, which served about 30 fairly rural schools.  When an opportunity arose for me to move back to Minnesota, I was excited to do so. I then began working for ZED in August, 1990.

I am licensed through the MN Department of Education as a School Psychologist.  I have also been a Nationally Certified School Psychologist since 1987.  I have served on a Special Learning Disabilities (SLD) Advisory Committee at the MN Department of Education (MDE).  I have also been a Trainer for guidance on implementation of the recent changes regarding SLD identification.

I live in Rochester, MN with my husband Keith. We have two children.  Our son, Nathan (Nate) lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Our daughter, Emily lives in Rochester, MN.  Emily is the mother of our only grandchild, Ava, who lights up our life. However, our son is expecting their first, so we are excited to welcome a new baby into our family in early 2019. I enjoy antiquing, quilting, singing in music groups at my church, participating in the Rochester Area Christian Drama, and spending time with family and friends.

Even after all these years, I am still passionate about my job. I work with wonderful teams at K-M and at ZED. I enjoy working with students and families, as well.
