Dinner Theater: Wow!  The servers did a great job serving and all of the performers did a great job performing.  Thank you for bringing your student(s) to our performance on Friday and supporting us in this production.

Spelling:  No Spelling packet or test this week due to the short week.  Please have your child use the time instead to work on their Invention Project.  They should also be reading 20 minutes per day.  Reminder, they are also encouraged to work on Rosetta Stone, typing.com, and Moby Max.   Make sure you are checking their daily planners for any other homework they might have in CFL, Math, Science, etc.  We only have a few more weeks left in this quarter so let’s finish the quarter strong.

Open House:  Tuesday,  March 17th from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. visit classrooms and see the writing, social studies, science and art projects Zion students have worked on this year.  Bring a friend and share why Zion is a great school.

Grandparent / Special Friend Day:  Friday, March 20th, from 8:30-1130 A.M. This is a day to share a morning at Zion with your Grandparent / Special Friend.  Invitations were sent home with your student(s) earlier in the week.  Please RSVP to ymclellan@zionanaheim.org or 714-535-3600 Ext. 400 on or before March 16.

Third Quarter Project:  Only a few more days until our Curriculum Fair.  PLEASE don’t wait until the last minute to work on the final project.  Due March 17 is the Questions Page, Presentation Board, and Invention.  Please refer to the packet that your child brought home for more information on how to complete this project.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Fashion Show & Luncheon:  The Zion Thrift shop invites you to a Fashion Show & Luncheon on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m.  RSVP required by March 31st at UnitedinChrist@zionanaheim.org so they know how many to plan for.  If your student would like to participate in the fashion show please either email me, and I will pass on the info or you can let Michele Brown know that your student is interested.  Her contact info is 714-879-1147 or UnitedinChrist@zionanaheim.org and she can tell you more details about this event that will be taking place on April 4th.
