For those of you who are new to the club this is UYBC's annual charity fundraising event with the money raised going to RAG and Marie Curie cancer care (the official BUCS charity partner).

We will be playing badminton (amongst other things) from 8pm to 8am (12 hours!). There will also be a raffle and we will be ordering half price pizza!

In order to raise money we will be charging a small entrance fee of £4, a bargain for 12 hours of badminton! There will be also be sponsorship forms for those of you who want to get sponsored by family and friends for staying up all night and playing badminton.

The event is open to anyone, so bring friends, coursemates, housemates etc. There is no obligation to stay for the whole 12 hours, but those that make it to the end will have the privilege of being part of the annual UYBC survivors photo!

A we're going to be playing badminton for 12 hours, please remember to bring plenty of water and snacks. If you want to nap feel free to bring duvets, blankets and sleeping bags.

Friday 13th - Monday 16th March

One of the HIGHLIGHTS of the Badminton Club year is our holiday. A proud tradition; involving fun, frolicks and freedom from the stress of term-time life. This year we are going to the lovely Hebden Hey Scout Centre near Halifax, where we will enjoy three nights of games, fine dining (courtesy of our resident chefs, Holly Bartlett and George Hargreaves) singing round a campfire, etc.

We will be leaving on the afternoon of Friday 13th of March and come back on the afternoon of the 16th. Our coach will be picking us up and returning us back to James College car park by the sports centre

Tickets cost £50 per person for the three nights (13th-16th March) which includes accommodation, transport and food. We will not be taking payments in installments, please pay the full £50 to either Holly, George or buy a ticket on the Yusu website. This is a great event to come along on, it's a really fun, sociable weekend that you won't forget!
