Eligibility and Services

The Title VI program is open to all students who are of 
Native American descent from a Federal or State recognized tribe.  The student, parent, or grandparent must have tribal membership.

The Title VI program provides services to meet the cultural and academic needs of Native American students enrolled in the Yukon Public School system. 
 
Our services include:
  • Tutoring for 1st - 8th grade
  • Cultural resources for teachers
  • Tribal, college, and scholarship information for high school students
  • "Summer Reading Program" which provides a cultural book to Pre-K - 8th grade Title VI students
  • Cultural presentations at the schools
  • Family Cultural nights
  • Tribal enrollment assistance
  • Information on Tribal services
  • Choctaw Star and Chickasaw incentive programs
  • JOM Assistance
