When & Where?
All year - Friday 7.00-9.00 pm at Huntington School. (School term time only)

Summer - Thursday 6.30 pm - dusk at Rowntree Park. (May - August only)

What is Go Spike?
Go Spike is a campaign to get more people playing volleyball, one of the world’s most popular sports.

Go Spike is designed to show off some of volleyball’s important values; the sport is adaptable, social, fresh and invigorating - a great way to exercise and have fun. Over half a billion people play volleyball worldwide, so this is England’s chance to catch up and Go Spike!

Come and play volleyball, have fun, make friends and learn new skills. Rediscover sporting abilities and get active. Come and have a go! The sessions cater for all abilities and all ages from 14+.

Go Spike in the Park
On Thursdays in the summer, May - August, we play outside at the southern end of Rowntree Park, by Millennium Bridge. There will be nets up all evening for anyone to come and have a go. For experienced players, there are usually competitive matches with players from our local and national league teams. More details...

For younger players, under 14, there is a junior outdoor session in Rowntree Park, on Thursdays 6.30-8.00 pm.

Go Spike Indoors
There is also an indoor Go Spike session at Huntington School on Friday 7-9 pm. This runs during school term time only

Come along and give it a go!
